So, what is Domuso? 

Domuso is a rental payment platform that seamlessly integrates with your accounting system.  The platform provides a touchless online payment processing solution that is designed to minimize risk.  Domuso offers digital certified payment methods that allow residents to setup-monthly auto-payments, submit their rent via mobile device and this can save you time by not only auto-posting to your ledger but also by alleviating the burden of paper checks and money orders from your leasing office.

    1. For any property with an individual owning more than 25% please provide ownership information using this link.  This usually applies to Limited Partnership and Sole Proprietorship entities.

Domuso to-Dos

  1. Schedule intro call and training with Regional Managers and share onboarding materials

  1. Send resident welcome letter and post flyer in lobby
  2. Download and print resident guides to have on hand
  3. Ensure resident emails are included in Yardi profile.  This will simplify setting up their Domuso account.

Logins & Training


Online training links

This link can be distributed to managers so they can complete online training.  This is a prerequisite for all site staff who will use Domuso.  https://training.domuso.com/courses/pre-live-training-bridge

Domuso logins

Each person using Domuso should have their own login.  Email [email protected] with the email address and property name(s) that you need to access.  Logins will be your email address as a username and you will receive an email invitation where you can create your own password.

Check Scanner Software Installation

Sign up for an appointment to install Domuso’s check scan software if you are using a physical check scanner on-site.  Installations are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday so please plan ahead.

NOTE:  If you have an Epson printer please contact sarah@domuso or jamison@domuso before scheduling as we need to get a special license.  We always have Panini and Digital Check Tellerscan licenses available.

IMPORTANT check scan TIPS

  1. Once you install the Domuso software you should only scan through Domuso.  There is no need to scan directly to the bank; Domuso will process the check and post to the resident’s ledger.
  2. Always use Google Chrome to scan checks.
  3. Money Orders, business checks and bill pay checks must be scanned as Certified in their own batch or they will be returned by the bank and you will be charged a fee.   Only handwritten checks with the resident’s actual signature should be scanned as personal.
